Last Market of the Season

We attended a local farmers market in Miharam Hiroshima as the last market of the season. We were able to meet many new customers at the market and were happy to connect with many of our regular customers. This market was the 4th annual Organic market for the Bingo region. Our organic produce line up included salad kale, red Russian kale, beets, turnips, asian greens, chilli peppers, swiss chard and salad. We also had Organic fig jam for sale and dried lemon grass tea.

The market was very busy considering the Corona Virus impact on local markets around Japan. This market is unique in that it works to build the community of organic farmers in our region. I was impressed with the dedication and hard work of the market organizers. We hope to attend next year.
